PLEASE DONATE A TENT TO THE HAITIAN VICTIMS OF 01/12/2010 EARTHQUAKE DISASTER! Haiti Without Borders Rebuilding Haiti Together A message to all members of Haiti Without Borders Today marks our 7th day sleeping in the tent in solidarity with those deprived of tents in Haiti. The weather has not been very cooperative, we were able to collect 5 tents. As friends and family of Haiti we are all aware of the situation and the condition under which our people are living. I beg of you to donate a tent. I realize that many of you have donated your time and money either to the Red Cross or other NGOs, quite frankly, help is not reaching our people. At this point, many in Haiti are dissatisfied at the way distribution is handled. People in the main areas are still deprived, their basic needs are still not met. Those in areas referred to as RED ZONES are not receiving anything at all. With the raining season fast approaching, many are using sheets as shelter. Providing some kind of shelter for our people is a necessity. Donating a tent will keep families and those injured out of the rain. Prices for a decent tent range from $75.00 to $750.00, whatever you can give will help a family. Get involved, Help Haiti - Its the right thing to do.
