Special Report by Haiti Vox: Puello alleges two Dominicans helped Silsby
For Release 2.24.10 Haiti Vox announced the release of a premiere issue of the Haiti Vox Bulletin that features a special in-depth report on the Laura-Silsby | Jorge Puello cases. This special report is based on investigative reporting by journalist, author and Haiti Vox founder Anne-christine d'Adesky. She has had a series of recent email communications with wanted trafficker Jorge Puello about his role in the Silsby affair and who was involved in helping the Idaho-based Baptist New Life Children's Refuge group. Ms. d'Adesky also met with the Laura Silsby group just prior to her entry into Haiti in January. In her special report, Ms. d'Adesky reveals new allegations by Puello that two previously unknown Dominican individuals - a high-level lawyer involved in politics and a military official - were helping Laura Silsby procure documents and help in her effort to pick up Haitian children and bring them to a new orphanage she was establishing in the Dominican Republic. These allegations also support Silsby's ongoing claim that she had 'permission' to cross the Dominican border with Haitian children - documents she failed to produce when asked by border officials, resulting in her detetion. In other news, reports suggest that Haitian Judge Bernard Saint-Vil will release Silsby and Charisa Coulter this week, after having failed to find evidence of criminal wrongdoing.
