haiti ties jamaica 2 -2 in the caribean cup soccer tournament in brooklyn ny
on sunday july 18 th haiti battled jamaica to a 22 draw. it was the heroic and courageous effort of one james martino that kept the grenadiers in the game. on a hard foul on the penalty box by the jamaican james broke his finger trying to avoid vicious tackle. with broken finger and bleeding hand james begged team official not to take him out of the game. with jamaica leading 2 1 in the last minutes of the mr martino blasted a powerfull right footed shot passed the jamaican defense. if ti was not for the net that ball could of landed somewhere on the Belt Parkway. james martino was also tagged as the game MVP by his colleagues coaches and fans.
