TO STAY ALIVE AFTER 14 DAYS IN SUCH CONDITIONS... I'M HAPPY TOO BE ALIVE TO SING ABOUT OUR HISTORY FOR THE 21 FIRST CENTURY TILL THE END OF TIME LUKO ADJAFFI Wednesday Jan 27, 2010Rescuing this man 14 days after the earthquake is proof that one should never give up hope for any reason. If we think there is nothing else that can be done in a given situation, then we are wrong. The last thing that is always left is the will to keep trying, a divine intervention corresponding to an acting faith, a miracle, or simply hope.
Why would a human being say to another one to suspend rescue efforts after an earthquake when millions of people are still trapped under concrete and debris? Jesus Christ went through all the process of sacrificing His life for us, He did not take the decision to get out of His chosen plight and to prematurely go back to His Father. Likewise, we should not give up to save lives following a natural disaster. By his example of holding on to the only physical hope he discovered under the rubble, a two gallon jug of water, Ricot Duprevil teaches us to hold on to the only hope we have: Jesus Christ. If you are reading this, please hold on to Jesus Christ, today!
